Monthly Supply Drive

Our March Supply Drive is partnering with NRV CARES. Your donation will help NRV CARES to deliver programming and support services to families in our communities. They will also be using the toys and stickers to gift to children at their upcoming Spring Family Fun Festivals. These festivals are free to families in our communities and will help connect kids and their families to community resources.

February Supply Drive

Our February Supply Drive has ended. Thank you for your support by donating 105 items from our list of needs to support local families affected by recent fires.

Our gratitude goes to Sharon Brown, Bonnie Hawks, Mary Rose Adams, Rosemary Jones, Brenda Arnold, Jolene Rawlings, Shirley Thurston, Shirley Mullins, Whitney Beckett, Mandy Hayes, Carol Walters, Reginia Howard, members of DEM at VT, and any others we may have missed during drop off for your generous donations!

Ongoing Supply Drives

• Puzzle Books for Veterans – The books will serve as bingo prizes during our bi-monthly visit to the VA Center for Development and Civic Engagement.
• Stamps for the Wounded – Please leave at least a quarter-inch margin of paper around used postage stamps you tear off envelopes or packages.
• Operation Paperback – Gently-used paperback books, current magazines, and DVDs are accepted. We have a container for these items inside the volunteer office. 
• Lions Club – Eyeglasses
• Ronald McDonald House – Aluminum tabs
• Flowers for Veterans –  Bud vases for our annual Flowers for Veterans program

• Birthday in a Box – Needed items include birthday cake mix, cake icing, toys and books for children of all ages ($10 and under), birthday bags, and tissue paper. We are in immediate need of items for children under the age of five and teens (male and female) ages 10-16.  Suggestions for the teen age group include makeup kits, nail polish kits/remover, stylish water bottles, journals, soccer balls, footballs, books, hats. 
  

• NRVCS 401 Peer Center – Travel-size hygiene products

*We are NO longer collecting manufacturer's coupons. Due to the progression of electronic coupons, we are unable to collect enough paper coupons to mail.
