MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE- POSITION OPEN UNTIL CLOSED
Fill one of the most important positions in our agency by becoming a School Resource Officer and earning a $10,000 sign-on bonus. You will serve as a role model and mentor to school-aged children and provide daily support to students, faculty, and administration while protecting our communities greatest assets.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications from Law Enforcement certified applicants, with at least two years of experience for the position of Deputy Sheriff: School Resource Officer. Starting salary $50,082+ dependent on qualifications and experience. Salary consideration is given to persons who are School Resource Officer certified, General Instructor, and DARE instructor.
In addition, there will be a $5,000 sign-on bonus for applicants after completing field training and an additional $5,000 bonus after completion of two years in the SRO position.
