Pursuant to the provisions of Section 15.2-2204 & 15.2-2285 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors hereby gives notice of a public hearing to be held on September 9, 2024 at 7:15 p.m. in the County Government Center, 755 Roanoke St., Christiansburg, Virginia, in order to hear citizen comments regarding the Board of Supervisor’s intention to act on the following Special Use Permit request:
A request by Foster Ridpath for a Special Use Permit (SUP) to allow a restaurant (gross floor area of 2,000 sq ft or less). The property is owned by Kimberly D. Ridpath and is located at 3035 Riner Road. The property is further identified as Tax Map 106-11-3 (Parcel ID: 031860), 1.904 acres, zoned Agricultural (A-1) in the Riner Magisterial District. The property currently lies in an area designated as Rural in the 2025 Comprehensive Plan.
