Plum Creek Park
Plum Creek Park is located in the southwest region of the county near the City of Radford. Amenities include a youth competition level baseball/softball field, walking track, playground, picnic shelter, open green space, and restrooms.
The playground features two slides, multiple climbing features, and a tunnel. It is located next to the picnic shelter.
Get together for a picnic or party under our shelter! There is seating available for approximately 50 people across 10 tables. Other amenities include a grill, waste receptacles, and restrooms next to the ball field.
The picnic shelter is available on a first come, first serve, basis. You may also reserve the picnic shelter. The rental season runs from April 1 - October 31, and we begin taking reservations on January 1. Reservations must be made at least four days in advance. Check current shelter availability and make your reservation online or by calling our office at (540) 382-6975, Option 1.
We offer half day rentals for $30 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. and whole day rentals for $50 from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.

A walking path encircles the ball field and open green space. The flat terrain is perfect for children's games, playing with the dog, and picnicking. Relax in nature just 10 minutes outside the City of Radford.
Plum Creek Park is located off Route 11 in the village of Plum Creek on Hornsby Drive. If you are coming from Radford, take a right onto Hornsby Drive and if you are coming from Christiansburg, take a left.
