We offer football, cheerleading, fall ball, basketball, tee ball, coach pitch, baseball, and softball for elementary age children and up. For children ages 4 – 5, we offer Start Smart basketball and baseball/softball. If you are interested in soccer, lacrosse, aquatics, or track and field, visit the Friends of Montgomery County Parks & Recreation.
Football and cheerleading for the fall 2020 season is cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time we have expanded our fall baseball, softball, and teeball offerings. Please note that there will be no shared equipment. Participants must have their own cleats, gloves, bats, and batting helmets. We will keep you updated as the situation evolves.

Let the Kids Play Scholarship Fund
This fund was created to ensure that all kids have the opportunity to play sports and participate in after school programs. The fund helps offset registration costs to make all programming affordable. The fund pays 75 percent of fees to qualified participants.
If you would like to donate to the scholarship fund, your help is always appreciated and will only be used for kids right here in our Montgomery County. Children now more than ever need a chance to run, be on a team, learn from coaches, and have the opportunity to go play.
We offer reduced cost athletic fees for individuals who qualify for medical assistance through the state of Virginia, including VA Premier and Medicaid. Proof of assistance, such as cards, letters, or documentation from Social Services must be provided in order to receive this discount. We must receive this documentation by the registration deadline.
Please call (540) 382-6975, Option 1 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on this program.
