Departments/ News Coronavirus Update Apr. 2, 2020 COVID-19 testing sites: ONLY those individuals with a letter of authorization from the Virginia Department of Health’s New River Health District are allowed access to the COVID-19 testing sites. The Montgomery County Clerk of the Court provides an update. The Montgomery County Health Task Force Continues Drive-Thru Testing for COVID-19. However, services are by appointment only. The site is closed to the public. ONLY those individuals with a letter of authorization from the Virginia Department of Health’s New River Health District will be allowed access to the sites, and only by appointment, to receive appropriate testing, assessment and referral services.
