The Petco Foundation is teaming up with the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center to help change the world for pets through adoption.
The Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center will have adoptable pets at the Petco located at Spradlin Farm Shopping Center, 180 Conston Avenue NW, Christiansburg, Va., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., on July 13 and 14 for the Petco Foundation's national Be A Lifesaver adoption weekend.
All onsite cats and dogs will be available at a discounted adoption rate – $20 for cats and $40 for dogs – with the exception of dogs that are graduates of the center’s Second Chance Adoption Program (SCAP).
The Petco Foundation, in partnership with thousands of local animal welfare organizations nationwide, has helped unite more than six million pets with loving families through adoptions in Petco stores. Additionally, the Foundation has invested more than $250 million since 1999 in lifesaving animal welfare organizations in communities across the country.
